Jaime Elkins grew up in Beverly, Massachusetts and has been creating art since early childhood. Her formal training was at the School of Museum of Fine Arts and Mass College of Art in Boston. She also studied painting under Jim Peters at the Provincetown Art Association in Provincetown, Ma. She has been painting in oils since 1996 and has exhibited extensively on the Cape where she now lives.
